Game coordinates

The grid is labelled with the same numbers as in-game coordinates: one unit is 100 metres. A number from the game goes straight into the artillery calculator.

Routes with time

The ruler counts distance across points, the bearing of the last leg and the climb along the terrain. Time on foot includes climbs; vehicle time uses an off-road average.

Squad room

The lead creates a room, the squad joins by code. Targets, rally points and FOBs are shared, refreshing every few seconds, and you can see who is on the map.

Where does the map image come from?

The centre is the game's loading-screen map (about 6 m per pixel); the edges come from the in-game tactical map and cover the whole play zone, faction bases included. Both layers share one scale and are blended without a seam.

How accurate are the heights?

Heights come from 20 m contour lines, so the difference between two points is good to roughly 5–10 metres. For artillery that is enough to know whether a correction is needed.

Are marks saved?

Personal marks stay in your browser, and the Plan link button packs them into a link you can open elsewhere or send to a friend. Room marks live on our server while the room exists.

You have the map — now get a squad

WD Help is a 100-slot European WARDOGS server with real admins, queue priority for seeding, ranks and rewards for playing. One click to join — the server ID copies itself.

Before you go on

The WD Help code.

Eight rules the server runs on. Read to the end; it takes a couple of minutes.

  1. Play it straight

No cheats, macros or third-party tools that give you an edge. Found a bug or a hole in the map? Open a ticket instead of using it.

  2. Your side is your side

An accidental team kill gets an apology in chat. A deliberate one, revenge, or three “accidents” in a row gets a ban.

  3. Voice is for the fight

Team and all channels are for callouts and orders. No music, soundboards, screaming or spam. Want to chat? That is what our Discord is for.

  4. Respect, no exceptions

No abuse over language, nationality, faith, gender or orientation. Argue with the tactic, not the person.

  5. Newcomers are the next shift

Help, don’t mock. Whoever doesn’t know the map today is covering your back next month.

  6. We hold the seed together

An empty server comes alive because someone shows up early. Seeding is the most important job on the server, and we pay for it in dogtags and tokens.

  7. Disputes go through a ticket

Disagree with an admin’s call? Open a ticket on the site. Arguing in all chat changes nothing; a ticket stays on record.

  8. The WD Help name, off the server too

On Discord, on other servers and on social media you stand for the community too. Behave so people want us back.

The admin on duty decides by the situation: a warning, a kick or a ban. These rules add to the WARDOGS and Discord rules; they don’t replace them.
